Frequently asked questions
Everything happens in your browser, so most answers come down to: it's private, free and instant.
Why won't my file play?
Some videos use codecs browsers can't decode (for example HEVC in MKV on some systems). Most MP4, MOV, WEBM and audio files play fine.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is opened by your own browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, so it works for private and work files too.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free. No sign-up, no watermark, no limit on how many files you open.
